That lets you delete your factory W/S too, if you want to do so. My RV's W/S was gone when I got it, so I put a Racor head I pulled off a junk yard IDI years ago in the same spot as the factory W/S... which is how I found it on the salvage pickup it was on.
I have it installed after the Holley Red fuel e-pump (mech lift pump deleted) so my system is like this:
[tank]-[e-pump]-[Racor W/S filter]-[stock fuel filter]-[IP]
I need to go put back the pre-filter before the e-pump. I removed it when I was diagnosing fuel pressure related timing issues. It's a cleanable/replaceable element one and it was leaky, so I might put a solid metal one and just replace it once it once a year since I can't see inside. It's too far from the Racor to bother running hoses back and worth, or I'd do that.
