I have a dana 60 out of a 2002 f250 and was wondering if this axle will work without much fabrication. Ive seen alot about getting an older one but no info on a newer axle.
Hold on the pattern for lug nuts is not the same?Using 1999 to 2004 F250/F350 Dana 50 or 60 requires dealing with the slightly different spring center to center width and a pitman arm ream to fit the larger drag link. Or swap the 99 up steering box w pitman and deal with the hose mismatch. Brake hose fit up? Need a custom set up for the panhard bar. Advantages are availability, likely pricing, possible improved turning radius. Disadvantages are non serviceable wheel bearings, wheel pattern doesn’t match (unless swapping rear too) and a lot of custom adaptations. Personally if I were to go this far I would go all the way to 05 up coil springs set up
Correct! Changes to a metric bolt pattern.Hold on the pattern for lug nuts is not the same?

Can my d50 hubs be put on this newer axle?
