PSD 7.3, 2000, 2wd. The air conditioning section. The reason- I have an ex ambulance with a separate A/c unit in the rear, which we have disconnected the gas piping to decommission the unit. Upon regasing, with the new shorter piping, the compressor won't switch on (does with a jump wire OK) While checking connections on the left front inner guard the fan (blower) stopped running. Used a jump wire from the blower relay, now blower works. So, we need to know where the malfunctioning wiring, connection, extra fuses maybe. Thanks Russ

Finally found a download copy of the workshop manual for my truck.:Thumbs Up In a bit of luck, I had a $10 voucher on "evilbuy" so the download was free, bonus :D Now to look up the relevant section but I still think there'll be some kind of "tie in" with the rear unit causing grief. o_O

Can only assume evilbuy = eBay

Another place you can look is called alldata since some auto part stores no longer sell manuals.

Cant just find the EVTM setup anywhere. Bought the "manual" but it's a nightmare.
It appears this stupid vacuum setup has something to do with the issue so I'll go through all that piping, no wonder the wiring wasn't helping.
There are only a handfull of people in this whole country (Australia) than know much about these trucks, so we get really "snookered" when we run into trouble with them & parts availability, there's another issue  Really starting to turn me off these Ftrucks !

Thanks but the trouble with living in the southern hemisphere most part/online stores aren't interesting in dealing let alone sending anything outside the USA. Just a fact of life, living in the best country in the world, Australia.

I don't know about "the best country in the world," but it's been my lifetime goal to go to Australia before I die!!! LOL LOL
........hummm, I better hurry up!!! LOL

BTW, good luck on your A/C problems!!

Just about beaten the A/c problems. Beep tested wires after we had the vacuum lines tested
& sorted. Found a wire from the low pressure switch which must have a break. Half the issue is with the left to right hand drive conversion. The receiver drier is moved across to near the LH headlight & airbox intake, evaporator is next to the airbox on the firewall too, so new wires are run (extended). So after nearly 20 yrs service once they're disturbed (radiator & intercooler removed & refitted) right where these wires run with joiners, there's going to be an issue. As there's no recorded plan for these modifications it's been a very frustrating "learning curve" to track down where things go, differing from the factory. Just about on top of this now.
Back to Australia, "the best country in the world"- Even our worst beaches makes Waikiki look second rate. Our climate, 90% of the year is shorts & short sleeves & best of all, our kids can go to school without the fear of some F'wit with an automatic weapon gunning them down !

Solve one problem & another one pops up ! Now my batteries are going flat in 2 days & the headlight chime/beeper is not working. So I suspect, since we've pulled the dash half out, checking the A/c vacuum lines something has come loose there :frustrate This truck is starting to act like my previous '89 :dunno
