should i sell my 1990 f150 4x4 5sp with 131000 and buy a 1992 f250 rclb 4x4 e4od with 360000 trans rebuilt

imho, that's a major step backwards. actully two. one, you're giving up a 5spd and two. you're giving up 4x4. assuming your truck is in good working order, why would you want to go to a 4x2 with E4DOA? now if you have a mechanical issue to run away from, that becomes a crapshoot.

Off subject, but could you give more info on the trike in the bed for another trike lover? My guess would be about a 1983 ATC185S.

imho, that's a major step backwards. actully two. one, you're giving up a 5spd and two. you're giving up 4x4. assuming your truck is in good working order, why would you want to go to a 4x2 with E4DOA? now if you have a mechanical issue to run away from, that becomes a crapshoot.


He said both are 4X4, but yeah he'd be loosing the 5spd for a crap e4... Plus if it has 360000 on it I'd be leary, not knowing the history..

I'd stick with the 90 for now and look for something else if you really need the diesel.

I'd hold out for a manual and lower miles but everybody has their own needs and budget.

Buy it and keep both. Backup that is affordable is always nice if you have the room
