nope tossed the D44 for a GMC 1 ton dana 60. (if it wasn't for a Dana's coming in everything i'd stay away from the GM stuff...:puke:) assuming you mean Scout 80 (series) from '61-'64 the scout 80 had a D27 front and rear, too small even for the 4 banger! LOL AND TINY drums in the front. the later Scout 800 '65-'71 could have been D27 or D30 front, both still kinda too small for a 6.9, with a rear of only a D30,Tapered44, or flanged 44, all of which kinda teenie for a detuned 6.9 even! i know of a guy that put a 6.9 in a '78 Scout II with D44's front and rear and he said it snapped rear axleshafts like stale pretzels. he put a 60 in the rear, i skipped the whole way around and went straight to 1 ton D60s front and rear! LOL;Sweet i have seen 6.9's put into scout 80's but there's alot of inner fender trimming. the IH gas v-8s required some massaging from the factory to fit in a 800 series.

Thanks budget95. ;Sweet (funny i have a friend on the BP that's name is budget76 ;p)

Here's the manifolds with an extra coat of paint installed! :sly

I'll be interested to hear how the mudflap works. My money says the bolts will still transfer the vibration, and you'll end up re-designing it, but for your sake I hope not.

Nice. Is it just me, or is that tie rod slightly bent?
