Heading home the other night, my truck decided to chew up u-joint caps on the rear drive shaft, and to make a short story, i ended with a royally f'd tail housing on my tranny.

u-joints were replaced less than 100 miles prior, no vibrations

FML.

If anyone has got a spare ZF or even just a tail housing laying around that you'd be willing to part with, shoot me a PM. don't care if its a 42 or 47.
i'd really rather not **** around with rebuilding one though.

Thanks all

holy crap! So your tcase is ok, but the zf broke apart like that where the tcase mounts to it? I'm trying to get oriented in the pictures.

It's not for sale, more like a donar.
If you need it, I'll ship it. But I expect one back when you come across a deal

tcase is good so far, i haven't pulled anything yet hence the s****y pictures.

zf broke just behind the flange for tcase.

the 2nd picture is looking up towards the transfer case, 4th and 5th looking back towards the tranny with the camera right below the tcase. if that helps orientation at all
