Yes!!! Snapped off injector

Don't be scared of removing injectors that have been in a motor for 2,3 or 4 lifetimes. They mostly just turn out easily. One in 16 like posted is no big thing but... If you don't know the tricks foe getting the bottom section out it can be tuff. Grinding off the large threads in the injector has been a great idea here for years. I bought a Rotunda tool kit off ebay that had one in it. Check the injector bores carefully for carbon buildup. When you find this then check the seat carefully under the copper washer in the head. If any cuts are found then you need to use a seat reamer to cut a new seat. No amount of crushing in a new copper gasket will seal the damaged seat. Way too much compression and heat in that area. There are several members that have these seat reamers....

I didnt notice anything wrong with any of the seats as far as i got yesterday but of course some dirt got down into each of the holes, i cleaned them out as best i could, a little dirt woulnt hurt right? lol

Thanks to all that helped here This was definitely a learning experience for me. It turns out one bank had BB injectors and the had D codes

Now that all the injectors are out the bores are dirty and the seat for the copper washers need to be cleaned up. Should I buy a reamer (if so from who?) and just cut new seats for all of them for safe measure or is that a bad Idea? Whats the best way to clean the carbon in the bores out? If I use any fluid I'm worried about getting too much liquid in my cylinders I just need a little more advise. Thanks again for all the help you guys

Nah, if Ford was going to use a inline 6, it should have been the IH 5.9L DT360.

Schweet!!! I cleaned out the bores and installed the new injectors this morning. You would not believe how many parts stores, tool stores and hardware stores there are around here that have never heard of a bore/tube brush

Anyway I was reading up on the timing adapter on #1 and am still a bit confused Lines need to be equal length and this helps do that? Why didn't they just make a longer line? Anyway I put it on and replaced all my O-rings in the return lines and fired her up today. Seems to run pretty good

If ATS didn't smoke crack and then design turbo's I'd have the downpipe in and take her for a ride. Stupid down pipe coupler!

International does make a number one line that does not use that timing adapter.... Its the number one line for the van motors. So... Now ya know....

Naw if Ford was ever going to use an inline 6 There is no question it shoulda been a nice kitty Cat like a C7 or something else along those lines...rool Regardless....A Cat none the less! I bet it would have out sold Cummins hands down!
