What are the differences in the packages for bricknose trucks?
I have an XL and all it has is a/c, cruise, and dual tanks. Not sure if PS steering and brakes are standard or optional.

Been going to the JY alot recently and have access to a XLT lariat and others. Half the time I go just to look and see whats left.

What do I need to make my truck a lariat model?

And what does the lift kit for the rear seat in a ex cab look like? I think I found one but don't know if its the right one or not. I'm going tomorrow. What are somethings I should keep an eye out for?

My front bench seat is worn. Would It be better/cheaper to get one from the boneyard thats not flat and doesn't need a complete reupholster and the forward mechanism lock works or just try to reupholster mine that is kinda flat and worn?
Heres the kit I found:

this isn't exact.it's close.anyone correct whatever is wrong.
i think the "xl" just took place of the previous "custom" basically - stripped and plain.
for the 8th gen, there was only XLT Lariat. there wasn't any such thing as just XLT.
for the 9th gen, they just dropped the Lariat off and just called them XLT.
XL's could be ordered with whatever extra.usually it seems A/C is big add on.
the XLT's got pretty much the full offering.though they also could delete things, such as carpet.but you get the lilt wheel, prw windows, chrome trim, different interior trim in some/most cases, prw door locks, cruise control, carpeted floor and cloth seats vs vinyl.cassette vs just am/fm in the xl/custom.these are the basics (probably i named most of them actually) of the differences.

To give you an idea of the differences, I have 2 trucks I will reference, one is the flood victim, the other is a 91 f-150 xlt base package I have
Both have: cruise, tilt wheel, power brakes/windows/locks, a/c, manual lockouts, wood grain trim, and cloth seats
the flood victim had as well: factory cassette "w/ premium sound", vinyl pinstriping, chrome windshield trim, sliding rear window, carpeted floor, tach, full cloth visors and nicer door panels, aluminum wheel to wheel running boards, grill guard, different headlight trim rings, and a factory hitch (may just be because it's a 350)

I had a '90 xl years ago, cruise, power brakes, and an am/fm radio were it as far as options in that truck

Mines has chrome headlight rings, carpet floor, cloth visors, chrome windshield trim, cruise, a/c, manual locks/windows, vinyl bench seat, tach, woodgrain trim on cluster. The yard has a couple rear slider windows but not sure what they want for them or how to get them out. Thinking of getting a OBS seat and put it in. I know OBS seats fit fine in a brick because I have one in my '89. Also wondering if I should bypass my NSS since I have an auto. Someone stripped two of the wires and twisted them together already and thinking of just soldering them together and calling it good. Not worried about it starting and taking off randomly in gear. If I'm not behind the wheel, its in park. But what is the black w/pink stripe wire going from the NSS to the tail lights all about?

Gotta better pic of how that rear seat is with that lift? Looks like it wouldn't be that hard to make honestly
