I'm looking to buy a lunchbox locker or some kind of DIY install limited slip for my 10.25. I have an open carrier currently, hence the attraction to the DIY lunchbox install. I can't set up gears so I can't afford to go factory limited slip and pay someone else to reset the gears.

Let me know if you've got one sitting on a shelf and want to get rid of it!

Thanks

I don't have a locker to sell, but I also used to think that I had to pay someone to set up a replacement locker for me. I have since successfully installed a locker on my Ranger. Yes, setting up a diff. from scratch would be more than I would probably want to do. But, putting in a locker into a diff that is already set up (provided you are not changing out the r & p too is "usually" a simpler job. Just some food for thought if you can't find a lunchbox locker, or want to install something like a Detroit Locker, Arb air locker, or even a L/S. This book is a really great read and helps you better understand what is involved: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Differentials-Identification-Restoration-Repair-2nd-Edition-Randy-Layman-J-/261972626270?hash=item3cfec90b5e&vxp=mtr Jim Allen is a member of this forum too (pwrsmoke)
