My friend had to move a 70's ford the other day. so we took the ol IDI rollback to get it. the engine ran great and we had no issues. the helpers were flattened but it did fine going 70 miles! :D;Sweet

the only thing with the engine is it's pretty loud, like advanced timing, i backed the pump back a hair (no meter) but it still is noisy, off throttle it's quiet and WOT it's quieter, as soon as you give it some fuel it makes some noise. could it be a lazy injector??

i think the springs are ok, just that truck was a tad on the heavy side for that truck...
that's the understatement of the decade.
pray no DOT ever catches adventures of that magnitude.
here's why.....
your approx tare is 7700lbs.
your gvw is 10k
the approx weight of the f250 SC 4x4 is 6k at min and prolly 7k.
you're prolly 5k overweight.
do bear in mind you need to know the limits in order to intelligently break the rules :D
my rule of thumb is the larger the truck...the bigger the overload.
a F450 tares at 10k grosses out at 15k. even with that truck, it's still 2k overweight. The brakes can handle it easy though. it's when you get to a 21k gross, that's when things really get scary.
