Along with a few others, I've always paid special attention to Bill's posts. I'm sorry he's gone - he was an asset here.

In general, I must say, I've been highly impressed with the technical rigor and commitment of all of you on this site. You all deserve an attaboy for the quality of the posts/replies here.

I had the privilege of speaking with Bill quite a bit around this time last year while hitting roadblocks with my truck. He always knew exactly what direction to point me in, and even offered to let me use his space/timing tools. The best part would be the stories that came along with those well guided pieces of advice. It's still surprising to me how active he was for his age.

Rest in peace Bill. My condolences to the family.
