Can anyone here give me some ideas on a winch bumper for my truck? I have a winch, but no way to mount it to the truck.

This is my favorite bumper build i have seen for these trucks, except for ones built by Hefty Fabrication. the Hefty ones are more for four wheeling though. originally built for full size broncos. This one is built for an idi. if i had any welding skill at all I would build this one for my truck, and if i had any money i would probably buy one from Hefty for my bronco.

Bumper Build

Edit: here is Hefty's website real talented and very nice. He may be a little hard to get ahold of right now, because i heard he has been affected by the wildfires in colorado.

On my old OBS I had a T3 Winch Bumper with a WARN 12K winch. It looked awesome and was really solid.
also they are from TX and I always try to support a tx company vs going across the state line.

I have a Warn Classic from my 97 Chevy truck I made work on my 86 F350. Had to cut fenders on truck and trim bumper a bit. Will try to find a pic for you.

How does the winch / bumper attach to the frame, what with the springs attached right at the end of the rails, and the core support on top? I have not done much scheming yet, but if I had a good idea of that part, I could maybe hide the winch behind the stock bumper, and eliminate having to trim the bumper ends to clear the tires.
