T3 and T4 is the turbine housing inlet style and size. I have never heard of a compressor sized in T3, T4, T6 etc.

I think David85(?) has that compressor wheel on his ATS, had it setup by Russ IIRC.

Russ does 60-1 compressor wheels, dont know if they are the same as the super 60 although he has said that so they might be the same.

Russ told me he would have to lathe down the compressor housing to make it fit.

Super 60 is a T3 compressor, 60-1 is a T4.
The T-3/4 is actually the size of the center section. The ATS turbo is a Hybrid with T3 exhaust and a T4 compressor.

I could just tell you it'll work, but, I'd much rather share some knowledge and explain how and why rather than just say yes.

I personally don't think the 60-1 is even all that great for these engines...but, when it comes to T04B's you're pretty limited on your compressor wheel choices.

My 60-1 works real well, but the cam and other engine mods feed it also. almost 2 lbs of boost down lower than with the original ats.

so it boost lower with the 60-1 compressor? is that better

The 60-1 is still small for these engines. I'd be looking at a T66, it should work very nicely, not overly huge on the inducer with a nice big exducer, and it's well inside it's efficency map for 20 psi, so, it should spool nice and quick, no surging. A T04R might also be a decent choice, I'll take a look at a map after work.

I just picked up a 60 trim T04E off ebay...gonna try that...someday, whenever I have a chance to actually take my truck off the road for a few days and work on it.

None of them are bolt on mods, either housing/backplate changes or machine work or both.
