Why does my truck keep frying starter solenoids?

86 f250 IDIT burned out 2 solenoids in 5 days. what is causing this?

I assume we are talking about the fender mount solenoid, I would guess you have a short somewhere. Check the power cables, they can be rubbed through, and shorting out.
