Hello All!
I'll be towing a 8500# trailer behind my new to me '90 F250 XLT 7.3IDI E4OD Needless to say, I've been shopping transmission coolers. We in Florida for the winter, so I'm not sure if I need a an oil thermostat. Of course a stacked plate style cooler is the only way to go. I've been looking at the Dorman 918-216 which, I belive is a OEM 6.0 unit Amazon has it for $155:

Then there's the Tru-Cool Max LPD47391 for $138:

The Dorman is big at 34"X16.5"compared to the Tru-Cool at 22.75"X8.5" they are both 3/8" in/out. Bigger is better, right?
For those of you who are running a filter, which one did yougo with and how did you set it up?
