Wheel fit question....

Im heading to nashville and a guy there has some nice oem wheels i want. Im just not sure they will work. They are from a 99 up and mine is a 92 f250, i read somewhere that they can be made to work but i cant find it.... Help! ;)

They will not work directly. The 97 and older 8 lug rims are 8X6.5 (8 lugs 6.5" lug diameter) and the 99+ SuperDuty 8 lug are 8X170mm. They make adapters that you could use to make them work, but they are not a direct bolt on rim.

My truck had 16x6 stock wheels. I found some 16x7 stock wheels in pic a part. They were on an 2001 e350 church van and bolted right on even the stock hub caps and rings fit

Vans kept the 8x6.5 bolt pattern for a while after the superduty trucks came out And changed to the metric pattern. How long I don't remember. That would be why your swap worked so well chris142. ;Sweet

I was running a 285 tire. When i went to buy more americas tire said they cant mount them on my 6 inch wheels any more. So i got lucky and skored the van wheels for like $60 for all 4
