I think I worked it out by order of math one day and got about 19 - 21 MPG with my truck. In Canada, we use the imperial system still for some reason. I worked it out to about 25 MPG imperial empty. When I hauled the trailer around a couple of times with an F150 4x4 and a Ranger 2WD on it, it dropped to about 18 MPG Imperial or 14 -15 MPG standard running at 50 MPH.

For some reason the Canadian gallon is .5 liter larger then the U.S. gallon. So if you using Canadian gallon to figer out MPG it will seem like your getting great fuel milage in comparison.

I keep my truck pretty light and stripped down.
weights 6,200lbs with me and 5tool boxes.

with the c6, I could never get better than 15mpg on a hwy run, but it only dropped to 13/14 if I was towing heavy or in the city.
I changed to the zf 5 and got 22mpg on the hwy, but city time and towing will drop the mpg to 15/16.

I get 11mpg but it a tow truck with almost 300000 on the clock and I don't think it has had anything done to it before I got it.

There must be something wrong with my truck :(

Reg cab, 5 speed, 4WD, 4.10's, 285-75R16 "mud" tires, 107K miles.

I get 13 mpg no matter what I do. Driving back and forth to work, 13 mpg. 2 hour trip on the highway at 65 mph, 13 mpg.

bah. I probably need a new IP.

Around town (under 50mph) I get about 18, the minute I get on the interstate and get up to my top speed of 60, it's more like 12 :(

I usually don't pull anything but my loaded toolbox and lift gate probably weigh about 1000lbs, and my gears are better suited for pulling battleships, not speed.

14 slide in camper 65mph road trip
10 at 15k to 18k total, 55 or 70mph doesnt seem to matter

gas mileage? very very good, mainly because I don't put any "gas" in any of my rigs.

diesel or "fuel" on the other hand, well I burn more of that.

anyway back when mine was in good shape it usually got around 18 highway, these days my fuel mileage is around 12, worn out pump and injectors, as well as who knows what from all the ether our hired man put through it. but still starts in the morning (without ether now) and gets me where I'm going

I'm with you garrett. Although I can get 16 on the highway if I keep in under 60, reallistically I can expect to see 11-12 mpg city, 14-15 highway with the truck in my sig.
