Assuming ball joint are okay and tie rods. As posted previously U JOINT in axle is binding/freezing up. It will have no play and when going around corners it may feel like your lugs nuts are loose. That the only way I can describe it. Disconect Tie rods at wheels or at pitman arm and with truck off the ground try and steer the wheels by grabbing tires.

Did you inspect the wheel bearings themselves?

Remember you have a third bearing that carries the axle into the hub.. that bearing has it's own seal also.. I've found several on tear down that have never been serviced.

If you have a wheel bearing that is galled, it can run OK for a bit, then bind up and drag. It will make the front end pull hard.

If you are taking it down again.. have a look.. wash up the bearings and roll them while you look at the races and all the bearings.. if they are not all clean and bright.. you will see score marks on the race, and perhaps pitting on the bearings..

If every thing else checks out.. and you find bad bearings.. that's your "Ahhhhh Ha" moment..

My thinking is, you have something happening to make the hub go towards lock while you are driving.. momentary sudden wheel stoppage when a bearing locks up "might" do that.

It sounds to me as though something has stuck in left hub wheel bearing axle assembly. The binding is likely a sticking U joint on the drive axle. ...
This.

Check out how bad mine were seized in my f350 years ago. My steering was doing what you described.

Mine was so bad we couldn't even turn it by Beatin on it and anything else so we took that gear out so the hub couldn't get locked in and let the steering break it loose for now

I have a short side shaft as a spare I picked up years ago. It is locked up solid in the joint. One day I will torch the joint out of it and press a new one on in.
