I have heard the van springs are stiffer. I use to use Half ton van srpings in my Ranger biulds way back when. By the way, that is a fine Ranger in your avator. I have a simialr biuld in progress.

yeah i run the 150 ttb coils since the mid 90's in the rangers, usually with the v8 swaps.

spring shops all said it wouldnt work. or i would probably been doing it alot sooner.


the spring from the van will be stiffer. due to the lever effect of the tib of the oem van. you could buy some quigley spec coils, but i think they just use the oem coil...which is why i suggested it.





on edit, there is nothing fine about my hacked up hideous pos ranger. you just have to trust me on this one:rotflmao

I like the D44 TTB for my Rangers as well. Right now I have a straigh axle 3/4 Ranger biuld. But the TTB is what I prefer.

That is a good suggestion. I would like to know where Quigley gets thiers.
