Does the water in fuel light mean anything other then water in fuel? Mine is coming on when you push the go pedal down about halfway and goes out when you lift and I have drained it a couple times.

I never knew it to mean anything other the water or it is so dam cold the fuel was jelling. I too am having problem on my 93 that I just bought. When I switch to the rear tank and the fuel gauge gets up to the full mark the water in fuel light comes on and about 30 seconds later the truck shuts off. Switch back to front tank and the light goes off as soon as the gauge moves off of fuel. Rear rank is full of fuel. Has me confused! I see the previous owner scabed in rubber fuel lines and I am wondering if they are colapsing or if the return and supply are switched.

It's the 96 in my sig and I buy all my diesel at fuel stations and I run Howe's treatment.

I changed the filter and completely drained the bowl and no change?

You might need to clean the bowl......
