vibration question

I recently swapped engines and went on my first real drive since I've owned her (nearly a year) and I get vibration upon take off, kinda feels like driving on chunky tires for a second and at the same time the transfer case shakes/moves back and forth.

Is this a bad transmission mount or am I just paranoid?

Also my overdrive light doesn't come on but it still works ,
I would like to change the light out or the switch(just in case it blinks) , I have searched the Web and found no real answers.

Sounds like mabe the mount, mabe a u joint?

Do you have the U-joints indexed? The shift switch is available from dealer, the whole shifter is about $57.

I'm not sure what having my u - joints indexed means, could you clarify?

If you take a drive shaft apart, you are supposed to mark it and put the parts back together in the same orientation or indexed the same. It can cause vibrations if it's not.
