So on the 96, has led turn signals all around. Load resistors at the rear turn signals.
Factory flasher flashes, just extremely slow. Also sometimes not at all. Like maybe until the glowplugs turn off.
I tried the middle flasher in the above pic. Did nothing. Lol it advertises working with a mix of LEDs.

So I'm looking at wiring this in. https://ebay.us/I9SU8e
By my calculation, should handle 20 amps.
I really don't want to add in more load resistors, as that defeats the purpose of led in the first place.

What kind of flasher? I’ve been able to use leds with electronic flashers without having to add resistors.

I'm guessing that Tridon LL52 since he said middle one in the picture above. See my post above his.

@79jasper per their site https://www.tridon.com.au/products/Tridon/35/478/flashers-and-relays/2000/flasher-relays-electronic

it sounds like you want an electro mechanical and not just an electric flasher. The electric flasher units are load sensitive whereas the electro-mechanical ones are not.

Yep. I tried the LL552, no response at all.
But OTOH, that appears to sometimes happen regardless.
For the time being, I'm probably going to pop some incandescents in the front.
