Hi everyone I am in the middle of a zf5 swap and I lost the bolts that bolt the transfer case to tranny anyone know the size and length of those bolts and how many there are so I can buy new ones at farm and fleet. Thanks much

Damn I just put a t-case in behind a ZF today. I know there are 6 bolts about 2 inches long, no washers. They have a 9/16 head on them but thats all I can tell ya. If you are really in a bind, I can pull one and find out for sure, but not for a few days.

3/8-16. I feel like they're ~ 1 1/2" in length. Should be able to get them easily from any hardware store - get grade 5 or 8, not the generic cheap ones. Grade 5 would be fine if you can but it seem like most stores only have grade 5 in fine thread so you'd need grade 8. I would start with 1 1/2" and if they seemed too short try a bit longer. As long as they screw into the case a good 1/2" or so I'd say they're fine.

I would put flat washer on for sure and either lock washers or use loctite.
