I've heard a lot of people with Cummins doing 10 Speed Swaps, is there a way to do a 10 Sp Swap on a 7.3? I'd really be interested in Having 10 Forward gears, That really seems like it would help in longevity of the engine, durability of the transmission, and drivability at certain speeds pulling.

When I saw the topic for this was "Tranny question" I had something else come to mind first :D However to answer your question, yes it is possible. You can get these blocks to have a SAE bell housing pattern on the back. My understanding of it is you have to remove that little adapter on the back of the block and then find an SAE adapter to bolt in place of the old adapter followed by appropriate flywheel/clutch. Your gonna have to do some serious transmission tunnel work to stuff a 10 speed underneath the cab though. I would recommend a gear vendors unit to attach to the back of your existing transmission.
