Tranny Question

I have a 2001 F250 with the 4r100 transmission. When pulling my fiver and then backing up tranny fluid strarts coming out. What do I need to do to fix this problem. I just had the fluid and filter changed.

The pump seal is getting soft with the tranny heat. This is common with the gray pump seal. Replace it with a Viton seal Precision #16601EV. You can get it at Napa.

While your at it change out the tranny cooler too. Use the cooler from a V10 or better 6.0. (5R110 cooler)
