tranny problems

I have a 94 factory turbo with e40d and once the tranny warms up if i stop at a light and then go it wont go back into drive till like 2000rpm. help please

torque converter. or valve body issue.

yeah figure the same just wanted to see some other opinions before I start spending money all ready bought a torque converter though. thanks

The tranny is always in drive unless you toss it in neutral.

Sound like it's not shifting to second gear. If the OD light is flashing, pull the codes.

There are many issues to this. Accumulator body, solenoid pack, direct clutch, or just plain tired.
