TPS problems

For a while I've had a problem with a slight stutter at a certain throttle position, the other day I noticed it getting a little worse so today I got a new tps, installed it and now I have no throttle at all and the check engine light is now on,
tried the old one and the same thing, what gives??

Try disconnecting the batteries or pull the ecm fuse to reset the ecm.check the throttle on/off switch, make sure its plugged in and no broken wires.also make sure youre putting the sensor in right

I got it, Idiot zone sold me the wrong TPS, but it was me trying to manually operate it off the pedal assy. without depressing the pedal that sent the IDM or PCS int seizure mode because of the IVS switch. Napa 610-1089 ended up being the right one. so far I think it cured my problem.
