Timing advanced= Nothing??

I advanced my timing(It was lined up with the mark on the housing before). All i got was smoke, no power or anything else

How far did you turn it? 1/2 a dime can set it about 2*.

Its turned to the pass. side 1/4 of an inch. I changed it a little at a time and never did change anything but more smoke.

A 1/4 inch is alot! maybe your pump is just real worn

It always done wonders for me

Has the injector pump ever been replaced. Could be a tooth off if so. Turn it back to the drivers side about a dimes' thickness. After that, another dime. See if it does better.
