Type the word out. then highlight it then select lin button.

Although this is not a Northern Tool hoist, theirs is the same. I was going to buy one, but found this grainmaster one on ebay, it's a 5 ton unit.

the one i have is a combined unit with a large motor that looks like a starter motor bolted directly to a hydraulic pump.

nice pics Scott but i really need good dimesions or all over pics to plan out my attack if i do it.

what size cylinder is that 5-6" with what a 20" or so stroke? i dont think the one i have is that heavy or long but then again i dont need to dump 5 tons. now this has me thinking. i have the expensive parts and metal around. i even have to pull my bed for replacement soon. i could really use a dump bed sometimes.

the problem I've seen with the pickup bed ones are..

the bed gets shifted back about 2in to clear the cab
the bed sits just a little higher in the back from the hinges..
the bumper has to move with it...(or ya smash the tailgate) and that means you have to use a diffrent hitch thats further inboard..making your receiver tube kinda long..

would I have one...ABSOLUTLY!!

thats good to know since you cant see those little things in the pictures with it up. since i will be building my own i wonder if i can change some of those things.

i could definatly get passed those things. i think its a great non expensive way to have a dump.
