D-day is here. I have called it "do not do anything else but get my car running" Day.

Update: took car to local shop and they installed the new block,trans and verter.

Today: Jody is in the garage right now putting all the goodies back on. He's got the bottles of oil and fluids ready to go in.

Keep your fingers crossed. First crank will be so exciting. I hope it blows the biggest cloud of smoke, because I am videoing it.

OK had to get a metric nut to tighten down the down pipe, so no test drive yesterday. Getting that done tomorrow. Today was yard work. Plus she is in need of a bath after sitting so long.
