Thinking Leaky Injector (s)?

My 94 likes to billow out greyish/blueish smoke (best color I can come up with, very color blind) It only really does it when you coast over long distances (i.e. coming down a long pass) and it comes out in puff roughly 3-4 seconds long, then 3-4 seconds off, etc.... As soon as you even tap the throttle the smoke screen goes away. I'm fairly confident I don't have air leaks anywhere. It did this with my old turbo, and the new turbo so I think I can rule out a turbo related issue. I also have a Road Draft tube so it's not blow by.

I've read a good way to test a bad injector is excessive heat on the injector body as compared to the other injectors. Is this best tested after a hard pull then quickly check @ idle, or can it be checked and identified on a warm engine at idle? To test w/ this method would one of those laser temp gauges be the way to go?

Edit: Forgot to add that it does this on either WMO Blends or Diesel. I have an electric fuel pump regulated down to a consistent 7psi. Usually I have a nice idle, on rare occasion my idle is a "lil" bumpy, but not atrocious.

Maybe a whizzer, but is the waste fuel wet? Possibly some suspended v emulsified water? Did a waste drum get wet with a loose cap, or half drum collect condensation? Suspended water is unmixed water or emulsification. You can see light discoloration on water paste with suspended water. Happens in diesel too. It'll still burn, but sometimes produces smoke, and definitely bad for the lubricity of whatever fuel you're using. The grayish is what has me thinking about it. Blue, excess oil in the burn cycle, makes me think it's just a whizzer. Whizzers are not necessarily stuck open, just bad tips or particle. Oil burns dirty, could be carbon build up on tips causing the ****.

Veggie oil does the same thing, except it's caramelized fat that makes tips sticky/dirty.
