Bumper is misaligned which is part of the problem, this should give it away...

Funny you should mention that, but both my 86 trucks seem to be bent toward the passenger side. You don't notice it unless you eyeball one side of the truck and compare it to the other. Every other truck of the same vintage seems to have the same defect from factory. Hard to say if yours is worse than mine without seeing it in person though. I just chock it up to 80's fit & finish. After all, they were still designed to be cost effective work vehicles first, an status symbols a distant second.

There's a good bit of room in the body mount holes. Some fresh mounts and you may be able to tweak it back into shape.

Looking at the sidewalls it looks like the problem is the driver needs to learn to stay away from curbs...... ;Poke

Yeah I noticed that too, we bought this truck from a pastor who said his son didn't like driving it to school!
