Temp flow in heater loop

Is the temperature flow in the loop going to the heater core up to full operating temperature and does it stay roughly in sync with the ups and downs of the operating temp of the overall cooling system?

Was looking for a good place to tap in a temp sensor for a fan control and I just happen to have a threaded port in that line already

It stays pretty close! I went through the same thing and ended up just using the unused plug in the rear of the head (where the old style GP controller screws in) this proved much more stable and reliable!
