Tach sensor ?

Why does the tach sensor have to be under the vacume pump enough not to be able to get it out ? -cuss A job that could take 2 minutes and be done, I'll have to plan on when I can get it done.

It's on top ... but under the edge of the vac pump so you can't get it out without removing the belt and vac pump.

Mine is on the top, is a 93 that different?:confused:

His tach sensor is in the same place as ours, tis his pump that ain't - serpentine belt engines have the vacuum pump right on top, kinda where our A/C compressors are but not really.
