Stuck lower injector body

Hey,

I was wondering if there was any other way to get an injector. I tried grinding the threads and screwing back together, but couldn’t get it to thread on the injector lower body.
Any ideas how to remove it?

Have you scraped all the carbon build up off the injector bore above the part that is broken off?

Worst case, a 5/8" coarse thread tap can be threaded into it and a piece of threaded rod with a nut and some washers can get it out. Definitely not the best option, but it will get it done in a pinch.

No, I didn’t see much build up, but I’ll give it a try and see what happens.

Yes sir! I tried it and can’t get it to thread back on.

I got it out, with the advise of cleaning the carbon off the injector bore and grinding down the threads. Now I have the copper crush washer stuck in the bore. What do you recommend getting that out?

If i remember correctly, I used a 5/16 bolt threaded into the center of the washer and used that to pull it out
