Struggling a bit with my wiring

I am nearly finished puttin my truck back together, was trying to figure out where the glow plug solenoid was mounted and trying to figure out what wires connected where. Upon unwrapping the harness so I could clean it up a little, I found which wires were for the glow plugs, found several other plugs that not completely sure about. I also found a little plastic box about 3/4” square that is totally sealed by something the consistency of bubble gum except not sticky...what is this little box called? What does it do? Was mildly damaged and considering replacing it. Thank you

Pictures of the wiring and the little box you are talking about, might be a tiny bit more helpful than pics of the truck.

Sounds like the relay for the water in fuel sensor but without pictures it's hard to know.

Na, it is bolted behind the cdr on the back of the intake manifold, factory turbo had a bracket on the passenger valve cover.

If it's NA, it's behind there... The red wires you see there, are connected to it.
