Has anyone tried to shorten the steering stop for better turn radius?
Turn radius never really bothered me until i drove a cclb bullnose dually and it turned what felt like twice as good as my supercab long bed

Didn't the cclb have the same suspension/steering as you?

As long as your tires don't hit the control arm I say keep adjusting them. Just make sure your steering box actually has more to give or it's just wasted time. Steering stabilizer can be another limiter if you have one.

Nope. Don’t do it. It is set that way for a reason. And yes the longer truck will be able to turn the tires more since the longer wheel base is not as susceptible to the problems of a shorter wheel base. Spend some time Researching steering geometry. All front end parts from tires to ball joints will suffer. And when that happens it turns into a safety issue as well. Millions of dollars of R&D was put into getting each type of truck/car/suv the tightest turning radius possible while still being able to have parts last and be safe. Just gotta learn to drive what you got or buy a Prius.
