starting issues

I have a 03 6 liter with 104k that no one can tell me what is happening. When the truck is cold it will start just fine but sometimes when it is hot it will start and have zero throttle response it will just sit there and idle for a few minutes and then be just fine. Once when I tried to start it it would start and die right out and it did this for 10 or 12 times then it caught and ran fine. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks Skip

Check for codes (DTC's).

Common for an early model year 6.0L is a failing ICP sensor (located behind the turbo)

You need to check the codes. You may have a faulty FICM (Fuel Injection Fuel Module). Mine died at 115,000 miles and hard start was a clue. The scanner told the rest of the story. Good Luck!
