Sometimes when I crank her up my starter stays engaged and does not release from the flywheel. Sometimes when I shut down, the truck seems to half a@% shut down, but does not stop. Help! When it does this, it sounds terribal. Like damage!

My 12V was doing a similar thing.
I picked up a brush and plunger kit from Piers.
Made all those noises stop. The starter
is different between the two motors,
but the parts were cheap cheap. Way less
than replacing the starter all together.
Maybe there's a kit for the 24V as well.

Yeah as far as I know there is a plunger and cotact kit for the 24V's...
