Installed Shocks this weekend, 23 years old it looks like and rusted real well. Took a lot longer than an hour.

I was out before 8am driving the usual direction where I keep getting the AQMD complaints in the mail about smoking truck. My rig does not smoke unless I'm really in the throttle. Driving mt its smoke free.. Screw those pius driving ******** reporting a diesel.....:angel:

Sorry this has nothing to do with the thread, but what the hell is this all about? Can people call you in in commiefornia and get you fined or something...never heard of this before.

In Colorado there is a number people can call and report a "smoker" but all you get is a curtsey notice in the mail asking you to make the necessary repairs or junk the vehicle.

Sad thing is, the Prius is likely worse for the environment before it ever drives a mile than these trucks in their 30yrs of service. Nimh. Overall impact of making them (shipping, etc). Stupidity breeds stupidity.

Redneck exhaust job, complete with pipe strap, fence wire, and flex pipe. Much quieter in the cab, almost too quiet. No awesome turbo whistle in the cab anymore either :(

Mine got one new battery. Went out to start it, and hadn't had it on the battery maintainer in like 3 weeks. It wouldn't even crank. Tested batteries, and both were low, so on the charger they went. Passenger side took a charge and passed a load test fine. Drivers side came up with a dead cell. Interstate pro-rated the battery, but it still cost me $120. I'm betting the passenger side isn't far behind. And yes, I know it's preferred to replace them as a set, but since it's not my daily driver any more, I decided to roll the dice.

Well I got the new vacuum pump in finally, so I can cross that off my list. The list of stuff I still need to do is really long and since I live in an apartment complex, I can't really do it. I'm kind of jealous of all the people who have yards to do these projects.

Took my wife, kids and nephews to our favorite Pumpkin Patch...our kids are grown up but still like to go and our nephews had never ridden in a pick up before.
