I have a very bad shake in my truck when i am going around 45mph + but it comes and goes my thinking was u joints or tires changed u joints so now i am thinking tires is there anything that i am missing ? or other ideers i am getting stumped on this thing.

Wheel ballance? Does the shake go away at heigher speeds?

Most likely steer tires. That twin i beam garbage eats the edges off your tires and they are out of balance the week after you get them mounted. Eventually they will get beyond balancing and you will need to replace them. it looks like you have a dually there so chances are you arent running the same tread on drivers and steer tires so it kind of throws rotation out the window... on the bright side, your drivers will last darn near forever

well i think i might have found the problem mt right rear brakes where out of ajustment and it seems like mt drum is worped it is catching and releasing when i ajusted it the vibration seemed to go down so new drums and pads are a must i will also be doing the shocks too. my tires are all the same but the vibration i don't think is in the front the stearing wheel dont shake at all.
if there is anything else i should check let me know i am going to bed after working 3rd shift for the 6th day in a row night all and thanks for all the help so far.

check the tires for separations.

What brand of tire?

Check the driveshaft just to eliminate any possibilities. 2nd that on the shocks also. If you have seen a twin I beam front with bad shocks going down the road, your jaw will drop.
