Serpentine Swap, how do i wire up the alternator?

I switched my 6.9 over to a serpentine belt system off a newer 7.3 (1993). Everything went fine except I dont know how to wire up the alternator. The only one had the main power wire (prob 10 guage and black) and one other (orange prob 14 guage) wire. The 7.3 alternator has the main power connector, a single wire connector , and another connector that has 3 extra prongs. Not sure how to wire it up.

Any body wanna help me wire this thing up right? I can get pics if needed, my lack of technical discription probably dosent help

almost forgot, if its the alt im thinking of just go to a junkyard and grab a harness from another trk, it wont matter if its gas or diesel, alt wiring will be the same. its also seperate from any other harness so it will be that much easier to find and get.

Correct. The later year serp belt alternators are internally regulated. You will need the wiring harness for that alternator. It will have only 2 wires at the body end. The heavy lug to go to your fender solenoid, and a Green Wire with red trace which is key on power. I just converted the Night Moose back to this setup, having gone with an extrernal regulated unit when we first built it.
