Just wondering- I wired my GP's up to a pushbutton switch a couple months ago because my GP controller was acting like it was on the fritz.

On cold starts, even if the truck's been plugged in for three hours and I glow it for 15 seconds, it runs rough on initial startup and blows a bunch of blue smoke. If I kick it into high idle (or just raise the idle manually for a few seconds) it smooths out and the smoke goes away.

Why does it blow all the blue smoke, is it like that because I have a dead glow plug?
