Rsk kit on a 88?

Yea it’s just the frame box, the bracket gets sandwiched inside of the cross member with 4 grade 8 bolts per side. I didn’t feel the need to weld it

Can you take a picture of what your talking about? Where it would be welded but you didn't?

It looks almost the same? So if theirs can just bolt on why can sky's not? And why does it cost so much lol

ORU's boxes the frame without needing to weld it. Sky's was designed for OBS frame horns which are already boxed.

Most people box the frame and then use sky's or their own homemade rsk.
I've read of people using sky's without boxing the frame which is something I highly advice against.

Yeah, I was looking at the one designed for my truck from sky's not the 92+ version, I know that wouldn't fit. Wish they had more a a lift style one for mine though just a couple extra inches so I won't want to buy lift springs anymore lol
