Have you taken the tach out of the cluster and reinstalled it? Might be a bad connection there. Or swap it out for another one. There should still be one at my local wreckers from a '94 if needed. All this is why I went with a Baumann unit when I did my swap. Kinda lame to have a tach or sender go out and ruin the trans....

did yu try tapping the tach,,thats what i meant,,, the needle was hanging up,,,I had taken the cover off for something cant remember and that happened after,,,i tried everything just like you are and then i just tapped on it and it startd working,,,dont laff till yu try it
