Just as a warning, moving and/or disturbing the return caps while changing out the lines will likely start them leaking next. It seems if you just look at them funny, they will start leaking.

My two cents......... get a complete kit and forget about it. Don't get one from a chain store like Autozone or the like. They'll charge you way too much. Get one from Mel, Russ, Diesel Injection Service, or the like.

Plus if you just have to have clear tubing, there are scant few clear fuel rated hoses out there. Some motorcycle shops carry a semi opaque teflon fuel line that will hold up to diesel, but you will need different clamps than come with the kit, they will be the wrong diameter. you would need to use the more expensive fuel injection type hose clamps , the ones that make a full corcle and have a regular screw poking across to get even tension on the hoses or you will spring air leaks.

Plastic return line caps are all thats available to us. What makes you think steel is available??? If your buying from russ do it now... He will be overseas for the entire month of June... Vacation is what it is.... I don't think we can last that long without his imput here....:D
