I'm looking for fuel return lines , was gonna buy the cheapest but read up & they don't fit good. What's a good brand of return fuel lines for a 1987 Ford 6.9 deisel

The early design uses 3/16th fuel hose and the later design uses 1/4 or 7mm hose. I think the later design kicked in around 1991. The caps you currently have may still be good and all you really need are the Viton o-rings and new fuel hose.

Actually its crazy , the return line closet to the driver is stopped with fuel. It's a braided hose / line. U can see fuel like oozing out in the middle of the hose. Are those caps supposed to move / spin at all ???

If you have your original OE return line caps i'd try to make those work but depends on what shape they are in or if they've been replaced with aftermarket already. Some say the Delphi kits are good but my experience was not good. The straight caps were the correct size internally but the all of the turns were oversized (.010"). They had a looser fit, gave hard starts, leaked, and made the engine rough running. After checking all the inside diameters I saw that all factory OE caps were the same and fit tighter. They've been on for almost 3 years with zero issue.
