i finally got her back to daily driver status!
well almost. i have to work on the clutch slave some more.
she needs a bleeding and a hole drilled into the ZF5 ear to keep the slave in place.
she sounds great, runs great, and the ZF5, while kind of noisy with AFT, no insulation or carpet
IS THE BEST MOD I DID TO THIS TRUCK TO DATE! besides the rims and tires.
i get to go with the flow of traffic without winding her out!
also swapped my bed out for a cleaner one.
still have some work to do to her.
may be swapping transfers so i dont have to cut my floor.
im in the process of planning a work party with my car club (pre 1964 club)
were going to make this thing a 6 door!
i have another CC ill be cutting parts off of.
going to do it on the frame.
i am going to need the extra room. not did i get my woman preggo.
the dr. dropped the bomb on us that we are having twins!
atleast i get to name one Henery J.
or if i get to choose a girls name...
Mickey Thompson!

Not sure what or how that golf cart got up on its back tires but wow...

This is what happens when you spend your time on stupid little things.
Myself, I've been working on 2 F350's
This guy has been working on a golf cart.
Wide open circuit in reverse, then slamming it into forward.
Buncha goofy ******** on my street

Might not be a good idea painting the fan clutch especially the spring in front of it. They need to give up heat. The spring controls how the clutch locks up by expanding and turning that center valve shaft. Nice looking but color may not be what you want. Try it and see how it works. the post back results.

heres an update for you Gary after 800ish miles.
no problem with cooling, the fan acts like it should.
but i will retain the info on not painting the spring in the future, looks like i got lucky this time.

as far as painting is concerned i will not be painting the grooves ever again.
i spent this morning inspecting my pulleys as i can not get the belt to be quiet.
ive replaced the belt 3 times now.
its a gates belt and i have not located a better belt, yet.

shes gonna run alot better next weekend. with a new IP, and injectors ;Sweet

4 in grinder with wire wheel will clean out the paint on the pulley grooves. And thank you for painting those green valve covers, it's easier for all of us to look at. lol. I went with original grey but I almost painted engine ford blue. I always liked that ford blue engines. My dad, who is 83 years old, painted his 2015 mustang gt engine ford blue. looks real sharp.

I'll let it ride for now. A lot of other things on the list to do! It's in the high 60's today, so I'm thinking about starting body work soon. I'd reLly like to have this truck painted. It looks like a hack job with its 8 different colors! Gotta get it looking presentable!
New fuel system coming in this week, néw WFS, headliner, seals, power windows all ready to install
