Replacement Head Gasket

Well, I sota figured it would be like walking into a bar on the night before buck season and ask "who makes the best deer rifle"! hehehehehe I've always been a Felpro guy however my experience is limited to gas engines. I didn't know if there was one brand that was "hands down" better than all the others or if they are pretty much all the same.

The word here is Victor Reinz is the best. I kinda agree with that but I have always had great luck with Felpro. Some time back this question came up and if I recall the international brand was a victor reinz gasket. I do know flepro only does one thing... they make haskets... nothing more. They do plenty of research too. Others will post some more on this too....

Like Gary, I've never had a problem with Felpro's. I've got a set on my F250 with a 7.3 IDI, reused head bolts (not studs), no sealer on the gaskets (like Hylomar), and have a boosted over 15 psi on several occations without a failure. So, in my experience, they've worked well.
But, I too have read that VR are good as well. In fact, I just put a set of Victor Reinz head gaskets on my 6.9 (with studs, and Hylomar on both surfaces) just give them a try as well.
