Reinstalling return kit q's

I know I gotta lube the injector o-rings before I put on the cap, I think I got the hose clamped on proper so I was wondering:

Can I reuse the orings, they aren'tmore than a couple months?

How should I push down on the caps? I used a socket before but apparently it wasn't good enough? How can I be sure that it's on right?

I read a couple articles on this but I still fked it up so any help is appreciated. Half tempted to swap IPs since I have to take all the fuel lines off anyway but I'm afraid of screwing that up too and I don't have a timing meter...

When I did mine I just used my fingers and pushed the caps till I felt and heard a pop. I did lube the heck out of the o-rings with petroleum jelly though.

I heard a pop or two on each of em. None of them visibly dribble but most of the injectors are always wet

When I did mine a few weeks back, the rear two on passenger side were showing some wettness on top of the cap, all the others bone dry. I kept checking them every time I ran the truck, and they gradually stopped doing this. I am not sure if the O-ring finally conformed to the injector and cap or what, but right now, no wettness.
